Rent a Bus To Visit Pensacola Neighborhoods
Explore the various cultures and historic districts that make Pensacola such a unique place to visit! The team at Charter Bus Pensacola can help your group easily navigate from neighborhood to neighborhood, venue to venue on a custom schedule you build. Just tell us where you want to go and when, and we’ll make it happen! Here are a few neighborhoods to add to your bucket list:

Downtown Pensacola
Downtown is where you’ll find Pensacola’s most iconic landmarks, some of which have been there for hundreds of years. It houses historic neighborhoods like Seville Historic District and North Hill Preservation District, filled with Spanish-influenced Creole architecture from the 1800s. Visit St. Michael’s Cemetery, which has been in use since 1807. With aboveground family plots and mausoleums, you’ll find beautiful and famous structures, including that of First Lieutenant Arthur St. Clair. St. Clair was the first person buried here in 1812 when his son visited from New Jersey and wished for his dad to have a burial plot in Pensacola.

East Pensacola Heights
If you want to see a quieter part of Pensacola that isn’t crowded with tourists, visit East Pensacola Heights. Stroll through the streets of this neighborhood that are lined by American Craftsman-style houses, Victorian gingerbread houses, and English Tudor architecture. Walk along the waterfront on Bayou Texar or visit the Pensacola Museum of Art to see an eclectic selection of work from contemporary artists such as sculptor Dale Chihuly and pop art painter James Rosenquist, among other exhibitions.

Cordova Park
Located west of Pensacola International Airport, this neighborhood is a quiet residential district perfect for families looking for a peaceful trip away from home. Stroll along the beach and through parks near the Pensacola Country Club. Play a round of golf at Roger Scott Tennis Center or have a picnic or organize a field trip at Cordova Park and pool.

Ensley
If you’re traveling with history enthusiasts, this rural township was settled by the Ensley family as a cattle ranch and farming community back in 1821. Get your group a guide and explore historic buildings like the Old Christ Church in Ensley. It was established by Nicholas and Anna Maria Forbes Hammet when they visited in 1836 and gifted the church $500 to start construction. The first service held at the church was in 1838, though sadly, the church saw a great deal of its history destroyed during the civil war. As for the town itself, your group can still see how the original founders set up their community while wandering the quiet streets of this rural township.
